Ribasure 200 mg (Ribavirin)

Description

Ribasure 200 mg is recommended along with peginterferon alfa. Their combination has shown to achieve a 70% response against HCV patients with genotype 2, 3 and 4 whereas 44% in genotype 1 patients. Ribavirin acts by hindering the process of multiplication (RNA/DNA replication) in HCV cells. However, the exact mechanism of action is not fully understood yet.

Ribasure 200mg (Ribavirin) is taken in the form of oral dosage. It is to be taken with food two times a day – in morning and in evening. The medicine is to be taken for about six months to a year. It is advised to take Ribasure 200 mg (Ribavirin) around the same time each day.
